Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers for users evaluating SQMAP for offshore anchor pattern plotting and project layout review.
What is SQMAP?
SQMAP is an offshore anchor pattern plotting and asset layout review application. It helps users prepare anchor patterns against a coordinate-controlled project basis and imported DXF asset references.
Why should an offshore team use SQMAP?
It helps keep WCP, rig heading, DXF assets, anchor line labels, plan-view crossing checks and report output within one controlled workflow instead of scattered manual screenshots and separate drafting files.
Does SQMAP replace final engineering approval?
No. SQMAP is an engineering plotting and review aid. Final operational use must be checked by competent project personnel against project-specific criteria and approved procedures.
Does SQMAP use DXF data?
Yes. SQMAP is designed around DXF asset references. Asset data should be retained as the governing layout basis while the display remains readable through asset-relevant plotting.
Why are some DXF layers hidden from the plot?
Some layers may be reference items such as rig, mooring, title block or construction information. These can be retained for traceability without being plotted as active obstruction or pipeline assets.
What does a CHECK status mean?
CHECK means the item requires engineering review. It does not automatically mean the pattern is unacceptable. It normally indicates a crossing, overlap, proximity or data condition that must be assessed.
Can SQMAP be used on different devices?
SQMAP is designed for browser-based controlled access. Actual availability depends on the licence and access configuration applied during deployment.
Are rental payments refundable?
No. Digital rental access is subject to the No Refund Policy. Users should review the plan duration and intended use before activation.
