Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply to S-QMACS, a browser-based mooring catenary fast-screening software for offshore mooring clearance, touchdown, grounded length, buoy uplift and engineering review support.
1. Intended Use
S-QMACS is intended for fast screening catenary assessment, calculation and analysis. It supports engineering judgement; it does not replace it.
2. User Responsibility
The user is responsible for checking all input data before relying on any output, including line properties, water depth, fairlead or softpin reference, buoy data, pipeline and asset position, tension cases, acceptance criteria, coordinate references and project assumptions.
3. Engineering Limitation
All outputs are screening references based on the configured inputs and the modelling assumptions stated in the report. They are quasi-static results, not a time-domain dynamic analysis, fatigue assessment or class approval. Suitability for any offshore, marine operation, engineering or commercial decision must be independently verified by the responsible user.
4. Licence Access
Access is provided for the purchased period: 1 Day, 1 Week, 1 Month or 1 Year, starting from activation.
5. Prohibited Use
You may not resell, redistribute, copy, bypass licence control, reverse engineer, commercially repackage or modify S-QMACS without written permission.
6. Payment and Activation
Payment is processed through the checkout shown on the website. All payments are final; no refund is issued after payment confirmation or licence issuance. Login details and the activation token are sent to the email address used at checkout once payment is confirmed.
7. No Warranty
S-QMACS is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every project condition, operational scenario or engineering requirement.
